The ECP is an independent and constitutionally established federal body that is responsible for managing and executing elections in Pakistan. The commission also posts information about vacancies at its official recruitment portal at https://jobs.ecp.gov.pk/.
The Director (Law) position is open to Pakistani Nationals (Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Ex-FATA, and GB) with LLB, preferably LLM or Barrister at Law, and a minimum of 10 years of experience as an Advocate of the High Court.
The candidate should have personally contested 20 cases in the High Court, excluding family or rent cases, and should be well-versed in Constitutional Law, Election Laws, and Procedural Laws. The domicile for the position is Merit.
The selected candidates will be liable to serve anywhere in the country, and females are also eligible to apply. The ECP also reserves quotas for Females, Minorities, and Persons with Disabilities, and vacancies for each quota are described in the advertisement.
